Ben Holzhauser

Ben Holzhauser

Investment Advisor Representative

Ben Holzhauser has over 12 years of experience covering various roles within the financial services industry. Before co-founding Five Pine Wealth Management as an independent financial advisor, Ben served as Vice President of Midwest Markets for a small private equity firm focused on acquiring middle-market companies throughout the U.S. Prior to his involvement in private equity, Ben worked for an investment firm focused on acquiring portfolios of real estate that were distributed to the independent broker-dealer and RIA channels across the country.


Ben earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California – Riverside and his Master of Science degree from University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. Ben’s educational experience is concentrated on early twentieth-century economic and social policies across the globe, and in 2012, he founded the Historical Society for the Second World War at the University of Edinburgh. Ben enjoys reading, running in the morning, and spending time with his wife, Rachael. Three of his favorite authors include W.G. Sebald, Leo Tolstoy, and J.M. Barrie.

Jeremy Morris

Jeremy Morris, MBA

Investment Advisor Representative

Jeremy specializes in holistic financial planning and wealth management for individuals, families and businesses. This includes tax planning, estate planning, retirement planning and investment management.

After growing up in the Mojave Desert, Jeremy sought refuge from the sun and the heat by heading to the Pacific Northwest. He studied at Oregon State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics along with an masters degree in Wealth Management. Jeremy met his business partner Ben, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho where they founded Five Pine Wealth Management together. Jeremy loves English Mastiffs, fishing, evangelizing Bitcoin, and spending time with a handful of his closest friends and family.

Sherrie Petersen

Sherrie Petersen

Director of Operations

Sherrie Petersen has worked as a teacher and a graphic designer, and spent five years as a writer-editor with the Bureau of Land Management in Arizona. She has been able to use all of her previous experiences in her job as Director of Operations for Five Pine Wealth Management. With an eye for detail and a love for learning new things, she enjoys keeping the office organized and making sure the back office procedures make the client experience as seamless as possible.


Idaho has been home for Sherrie for nearly ten years. She loves spending time in the gorgeous outdoors either in her kayak or on her ATV. She recently started playing ice hockey and plans to learn to cross country ski in the winter. An avid reader, she earned her degree in Communications and Business Administration from La Sierra University and recently completed a certificate in Culinary Nutrition as well.

Hunter started at Five Pine Wealth Management in 2022 as a junior financial advisor, being his second position in the industry post-graduation. Hunter works closely with his clients in creating customized financial plans and helping them reach their long-term financial goals.


As a local native to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Hunter enjoys spending his time outdoors. In the summertime you will see him rock climbing, backpacking, boating or playing pickleball; and by winter he is skiing the local mountains.



Receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University of Idaho with an emphasis in Finance in 2020, Hunter completed internships in wealth management, research analysis, and business development

KESSA KIENKE

Administrative Assistant

After spending 18 years in retail management and operations, Kessa is ready to bring her skills to our administrative assistant position. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho, where her focus on advertising and communications equipped her with a creative focus on strategy, problem solving, and client relations. 



Kessa was born and raised in Coeur d’ Alene and grew up exploring the wilderness around her grandmother’s home near Farragut State Park, and she enjoys road tripping around the Pacific Northwest to see her favorite bands.
